Raw Materials For Granulation

EPE and EPS Pelletizing Process
The granulation process for EPE and EPS is slightly different, as the EPS material is usually larger and needs to be crushed into small pieces by an EPS foam shredder, then piped to a hopper that feeds the pieces evenly into the EPS pelletizer. Inside the EPS granule-making machine, the material is heated and melted, then extruded into long strips of plastic, cooled, and then cut into small pellets.
EPE material, on the other hand, is usually softer and can therefore be fed directly into the EPE granulator. Unlike the EPS pelletizer, the EPE foam granule machine is equipped with an automatic feeding device, which makes the whole pelletizing process more efficient.

Foam Crushing Machine
Foam crushing machine is used to crush large pieces of recycled foam into small pieces that are easy to melt and granulate.
EPS Foam Melting Machine
The plastic foam melting machine first crushes white foam scraps and then pushes them with a screw to the heating zone. After being heated and plasticized in the heating zone, the plastic foam is extruded into blocks. The output of this machine is 100-150kg/h.
EPS Foam Compactor
EPS foam compactor is used to compact waste foam into blocks, reduce its volume and increase its density. There are two types of compactors: vertical EPS foam compactor and horizontal EPS foam compactor. The machine has a compression ratio of 40:1.
EPS Pelletizing Machine
The EPS granulator heats and melts the crushed foam blocks and extrudes a continuous strip of plastic from the die head. The output of this machine is 100-200kg/h.
Cooling Tank
Cooling tank is used to rapidly reduce the temperature of the plastic strips to ensure that they retain their shape and quality.
Plastic Pellet Cutter
The plastic pellet cutter is the final process which cuts the recycled plastic pellets into consistent sizes and shapes to meet the customer’s needs.
